Improvement of Beauty Therapists’ Core Service Capabilities
Improvement of Beauty Therapists’ Core Service Capabilities
In terms of professional skills, a systematic training and assessment mechanism should be established. Pre-service training focuses on skin physiology knowledge, product ingredient analysis, and standardized operation techniques; regular in-service training covers cutting-edge skincare concepts and new instrument operation methods, and optimizes service details through simulated consultations and case reviews. Beauty therapists should master the “three-step diagnosis method” of looking, asking and testing, accurately judge the user’s skin type and problems, and formulate personalized care plans. In terms of communication skills, it is necessary to abandon the sales-oriented thinking and adopt a consultative communication mode. Use open-ended questions to guide users to express their needs, listen patiently and respond with empathy. For example, when a user complains about poor skin condition after staying up late, respond with understanding and focus on providing soothing and repairing solutions. In customer relationship management, detailed user files should be established to record skin conditions, consumption preferences and living habits. Regular follow-up visits should be carried out after the service, and personalized greetings should be sent on festivals to strengthen emotional connection. In addition, strict hygiene standards should be implemented, with tools and beddings disinfected and replaced for each customer to ensure service safety.
